On July 31, a meeting was held between Fuad Naghiyev, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Issam bin Saleh Al-Jutaili, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, Mr. Fuad Naghiyev provided an overview of Azerbaijan’s tourism potential, key tourist destinations, and the initiatives undertaken to develop the tourism sector. Both parties emphasized the significance of tourism in strengthening bilateral relations and exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation within the tourism field.

Ambassador Issam bin Saleh Al-Jutaili extended an official invitation to the Chairman of the State Tourism Agency to participate in the 26th Session of the UN Tourism Organization General Assembly, scheduled to be held in Riyadh from November 7 to 11, 2025, on behalf of the Minister of Tourism of Saudi Arabia and the Secretary-General of the UN Tourism Organization.
